How the start chance is calculated

Each of the last five gameweeks scores a player on whether he started, with the most recent games counting most.
Starters taken off before the hour count a little less; bench appearances count very little.
Injured and suspended players are 0%. Doubtful players are scaled by FPL’s 25%, 50% or 75% flag.
Players with fewer than three games of history (new signings) are pulled towards 50% until we know more.
The model never goes above 95%: rotation, cup games and late fitness tests always leave some doubt.
